On Veteran's Day I stopped by Boyce and noticed a few trees across from the station still hanging on to almost full color. At right are my attempts to pose a train next to the trees, first with Southbound 211, and then 11R from the height of the station baggage door. This Autumn was rather lack-luster for me but these aren't too bad...

I really like the paint scheme on the North Carolina passenger trains, I should try to shoot them more often! This is an Eastbound (Northbound) Piedmont flying at full speed through Mebane.
