I was just hanging out at the railfan parking lot at North Collier when other railfans told of a special consist Southbound out of Acca in Richmond. A look at the ATCS display told me I had "plenty" of time before setting up for the shot -- WRONG! I was just barely able to pop out of the Jeep to get these going-away shots of Mass Volunteer Fire Association equipment... Petersburg, VA |

I've railfanned the CSX in Maryland from Point of Rocks westward for over two decades but I have almost NEVER ventured East on the Old Main Line. In fact, I believe this is the first photo I've ever shot on that line! Eastbound at the West Plane signals |
