No sooner had I arrived at a gap in trees than this sight appeared.  The last of the morning's fog was hanging in a thin line over the river but was lifting fast.

8:38am

On the East side of the river you want to photograph trains heading East toward you but it seemed most of the traffic this morning is going the other way. After a short wait though, ATCS showed a routed line our way.

9:22am

I decided for a different position a bit lower and with a wider angle on the bridge.  Before I really found my spot I heard this train leaving Enola yard and had to scramble for a safe vantage point.  Yep, he's heading North on the Buffalo line, quite a few trains used that line this morning.

9:35am

Going-away shots are usually not too interesting but the exception was this unit pig-iron train.

9:48am

The wait for the next Eastbound across the bridge was a long one this time while numerous other moves happened around us.  When this guy finally showed, it turned out to be a rather unattractive train of trash containers.

11:37am

After making a decision to stay another half hour, ATCS showed another route lined across the bridge our way.  The first thing to appear was on the high line across the river and we thought that was it.  Then a stack train appeared on the low line that is usually used for entering Enola.  Confusing.  Turns out the upper train entered Enola and the stacks came our way.  Perfect for the last shot of the morning (or afternoon).
