OK, suffice it to say: The Summit Ridge of Mt Victoria is the most frighteningly fun ridge I've ever traversed! After a scramble through the initial rock bands that are not nearly as hard as they look from below, the ridge stretches out before you with innumerable false summits that draw you one and tease you each time with a view to the next. No problem though, when John and I were there the conditions were pretty much perfect and the weather was no threat so we enjoyed the stroll.             |
