The next day ATCS showed E721 coming West off the Old Main while Amtrak 29 was due West off the Met. It seemed the dispatcher was uncertain, lining Amtrak, then taking the signal down, then re-lining it. The coal train never stopped though, rolling slowing around under the Satterwhite signal and getting the clear at Rocks just seconds before he passed it. Check out that front-end damage on Amtrak 29!
