The Juice train, 1:38pm

2:40pm -- That's not exhaust or smoke but coal dust coming from this Eastbound 810. It left a thin film on everyone's car (and just about everything else).

It's getting dark fast!

Just before the rain came in ernest, I took my camera and ran for the cover of the Halifax Road overpass, getting there just in time for the Eastbound 228. Of course I was then stuck there until the rain let up an hour later.

The last train I shot was this southbound coal train. Not a very good shot, but I was a bit bored at the moment.

3:30pm -- OK, the story here -- T655 left Acca yard with 40 loads of coal and this single unit and stalled North of Walthal. The solution was to come light to Collier and pick up another unit, but there was other traffic it had to wait on like this ballast train going into Collier for fuel.

T655's power (supplemented) returning to it's train.
4:05pm

A long shot of V62 retrieving trash cars from interchange with the CSX. It's this usual consist that gives this train a variety of "colorful" names like one I overheard: "poo-poo choo-choo."
4:36pm

F773 at 5:18pm -- I just wanted to get a shot of a train with the road sign, but unfortunately when the train was well lite, the sign was in shadow.

The "poo-poo choo-choo" (V62) proceeding on East to the landfill to dump his load.
5:44pm

...and finally, T655 taking his train South.
