Rox Salt, 5.7

Conns East
This is Doug getting a good look at the beginning moves of Rox Salt on a rather dreary Saturday in June.

This climb is a short, leaning crack on the East Face of the North Peak at Seneca. It seemed pretty straight forward and true to it's 5.7 rating except for one section that Doug ran out a bit for lack of a big piece of pro. Of course that piece was just a few feet away in his pack.

Doug on 2nd pitch Conns East Later I got a good look at another pair of climbers on the upper part of the climb.

My vantage point here was gained via a rather interesting variation of Sally's Peril that Doug thought the hardest climb of the day, but that is another story...
