Dappled sunlight is what to expect in mid-Winter and that what we gets as train #822 heads East toward Norfolk and Lambert's Point.


The local railfans are not doing their job!  A little tree-trimming is in order here, I can barely even see V-18!


By mid-afternoon we don't even have dappled light for coal train #820.



Oh, COOL! an Alco!  Uh, wait, it's just another smoking GE (of course that's pretty much the same thing, isn't it?).  4:35pm

When I'm here I pretty much ignore the CSX and Amtrak traffic on the A-Line, but I guess I have to get one shot before the light is totally gone!
